Martinique, a favourite destination by many french visitors is making great leaps in increasing its market share for travellers coming from anglophone destinations. With flights from New York, Boston, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Martinique has become very accessible and adds a new Caribbean experience for even the most seasoned visitor to the region.
To compete with the current low cost long haul European airlines, International Airport Group has now launched their new airline LEVEL.
I would like to share my love for the Caribbean and will start with Martinique, a beautiful overseas region of France in the West Indies, nicknamed "the island of flowers".
To get there we had to travel from Paris, France as there aren't any direct flights from the UK. Generally fares hover around the £450 mark with three airlines Air France, Air Caraibes and XL Airways offering weekly flights. Check out Expedia for how you can you get there.
